Évrange
Évrange ( German Ewringen, 1940-44 Eweringen, Lorraine Iewréngen ) is a commune of 232 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The municipality is located Évrange on the Luxembourg border, about 17 kilometers north of Thionville.
History
The village was first mentioned in 963 as Ebiringon, after the Congress of Vienna, an exclave of Luxembourg was in French territory and was eventually assigned on 28 March 1820 France.
