Ewa Sowińska

Ewa Barbara Sowińska ( born March 5, 1944 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish doctor. It belonged from 1977 to 1980 the Polish United Workers' Party ( PZPR ) on from 2003 to 2004, she acted in the Catholic- National Movement (Ruch Katolicko - Narodowy ), and in 2004 she joined the League of Polish Families (LPR ) at. From 2004 to 2006 she was a Sejm deputy. From 7 April 2006 to 30 June 2008, it was Government Commissioner for the Rights of the Child.

Controversial proposals

In 2006 Sowińska suggested compulsory registration wild marriages. In March 2007, she called for the establishment of a list of professions that gays and lesbians should not exercise.
