Shenia Minevskaja (born 31 October 1992 in Minsk ) is a German handball player.

Career

Shenia Minevskaja began in 1999, playing handball at the DJK / MJC Trier. Four years later moved with her family to Minevskaja to Rostock, where she subsequently played at PSV Rostock. From 2005 to 2013, the backcourt player for the Thüringer HC ran on. With the THC she stood in the 2008/ 09 season in the final of the EHF Challenge Cup, which was lost to the French representative Handball Cercle Nimes. With the THC Minevskaja won 2011, 2012 and 2013, the German Cup and 2011 and 2013 the DHB Cup.

Early 2012 Minevskaja was also equipped with a second game right for the second division SG 09 churchyard. Minevskaja denied 3 June 2012 her debut in the German national team. Overall, she completed 17 appearances for Germany, where they threw 16 goals. With Germany, she participated in the World Cup in 2013 and scored three goals in seven games.

Private

Her father Andrei Minewski won with the CIS Olympic Handball Tournament 1992. Their mother Svetlana played among others in Germany Handball and won with the USSR twice the World Cup.
