Ex ante

Ex ante (Latin for " from before" ) is a term of legal jargon and refers to an assessment of a previous run. In their accounts later occurring processes that could earlier not yet be known. The ex ante consideration is the consideration against ex post.

In evaluations and surveys ex-ante studies define the state before an action and thus investigate the initial situation. In systems theory are ex ante in advance fixed sizes ( plan sizes) that are to be achieved.
