Exact View 1 ( EV 1, ADS -1B ) is a micro- satellite of the Canadian company exactEarth that will serve the Collision of ships.

He was placed in a sun-synchronous orbit on July 22, 2012 at 6:42 clock UTC from Launch Complex 31/6 of the cosmodrome Baikonur by a Soyuz carrier rocket with the satellite Canopus Volcano, TET -1, Belka 2 and Sond -PP.

The satellite will be used to route tracking of marine vessels by Automatic Identification System ( AIS). It is a wireless system for the identification and localization of cargo and passenger ships on the high seas. It was developed by Surrey Satellite Technology ( SSTL ) built on the basis of the satellite bus SSTL -100 on behalf of COM DEV Canada. The design life is five years.
