Explosive eruption

Ejection (Latin ejectio, ejection, expulsion ) is in addition to the volcanic effusion one of the two main types of volcanic eruptions.

In the ejection occurs during a volcanic eruption to the explosive ejection of rock material ( tephra, both host rocks and magmatic material ), along with strong gas production. The violence of causing explosive volcanic activity is dependent on both the amount of released gases as well as on the viscosity of the magma and its mineral composition. Ejectives activity occurs only in certain volcanic types, such as slag and ash volcanoes, volcanoes and crater lakes layer.
