The Droga ekspresowa S10 (Polish for, expressway S10 ') is completed partly, mostly planned highway and will connect along the country road 10, the port city of Szczecin Bydgoszcz and Toruń over with Płońsk in the Greater Warsaw.

Planning history

Neither the motorway network plan of Poland from 1945, nor of 1946, contained a track that should make the intended connection with the current S10. 1963 polyline from Bydgoszcz to Warsaw Torun was first provided, however, still lacked the line Szczecin - Bydgoszcz. Until 1971 there is a plan that is very similar to the present-day route of the S10. Five years later, the network contained the route Szczecin - Torun, however, branched south of today's A1 in the room from Wloclawek and led along the present Droga Krajowa 62 Płock towards Warschau.Ab In 1985, the route her to this day unaltered course.

The section between the nodes Toruń - Południe - Toruń - Wschód provides a common route with the A1 motorway, but is a toll road. The section between Szczecin and Stargard is dedicated as a state road 10 and will be rededicated at a later date for S10. In the area of Pila, the S10 and the S11 expressway to run on the same route. The same should be done in the area of Bydgoszcz with the S5. The avoidance of Wyrzysk is expanded with a carriageway.
