The Droga ekspresowa S74 ( ger. for, expressway S74 ') is a finished part or predominantly planned expressway in Poland. You should connect Sulejow and Nisko together. The route will run from Kielce along the existing national road 74 to Opatów, then the National Highway 9 to Lipnik follow in order to finally perform on the National Road 77 to Nisko, where it crosses the being planned expressway S19. The total length of nearly 200 kilometers. This could still enlarge, as the extensions of the road from Sulejow in the area of Łódź and Nisko are not excluded to the Ukrainian border.

Planning history

The connection between Kielce (S7) and Nisko (S19 ) is included for the first time in 1976 in the network planning. In the network of 1985, the range has been extended until after Piotrków. The route is then unchanged included in the plans until 1996. In the network planning of 2001, the route is no longer included. In the planning of 2003, the route is included in a modified form. The track is now run by Sulejow and called S74.

Completed sections

Kielce - Cedzyna

This 6.8 km long section of Kielce leads out to the east. It was agreed a 30 -month construction period, which included the completion of the planning documents. Construction has officially begun on 17 June 2009. Construction costs amounted to 285 million zloty.

Their primary purpose is to determine the possible corridors of the alignments of S12 and S74 and their linking with the other public road network. The continuation of the S74 is therefore not yet a part of the proposed motorway and expressway network of government.
