Extensor pollicis longus muscle

The extensor pollicis longus (Latin for " long thumb extensor ") is a skeletal muscle and a deep extensors in the forearm.

The extensor pollicis longus stretches the thumb to the end link. The tendon of the muscle pulls the extensor tendon sheaths through the third compartment of retinaculum and forms the boundary of the ulnar snuffbox. At the crack of the tendon it comes to so-called drummers paralysis.
