Eye in the Sky is a studio album by the British band The Alan Parsons Project. It was released in 1982 and reached number 7 on the U.S. charts.

Content

The songs on this album are held in a variety of different styles, some casual and funky, others emotional or complex instrumentation. The cover is designed by Hipgnosis cyan with a picture of the Horus eye, which is coated on early pressings of the LP with gold foil. Eye in the Sky is often considered as the most commercially successful album of the band, although that is sometimes claimed by the successor Ammonia Avenue as well.

Eye in the Sky contains the biggest hit of the project, the title track, sung by Eric Woolfson. It reached number 3 in the U.S. Billboard charts and # 6 in Canada.

Furthermore, on the album included the famous instrumental piece Sirius, is the world's most popular at sporting events and has a often associated with the band tune.
