Eyran Katsenelenbogen

Eyran Katsenelenbogen ( born July 5, 1965 in Israel) is a jazz pianist.

Curriculum vitae

Katsenelenbogen received from the age of five years with Aida Barenboim, mother and teacher of the pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim, piano lessons. He began early to devote himself to jazz and was taken from the record label Jazzis under contract.

In 1996 he received a professorship at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he still teaches today. He has presented on his European tour in September 2006 in Hummers Kultursalon in Soßmar His last CD Solotude. In October 2007, he also met there the first time at the classical concert pianist Andrei Ivanovitch to start with him the first joint tour Classic meets Jazz.
