Eystein I of Norway

Øystein Magnusson (c. 1088; † August 29, 1123 ) was, together with his brothers Olav ( who died early) and Sigurd Jorsalfari king of Norway from 1103 to 1123, he was the son of Magnus Barfot and Margrete fred kulla Ingesdóttir, daughter of. Swedish king Inge I.. He was married to Ingeborg Guttormsdóttir.

During his reign, he took care of the infrastructure built fishing accommodations in Lofoten, built from Bergen, where he founded the monastery Munkeliv.

His kingdom was not of the classical type, had to be confirmed by the Thing gatherings, and his power was limited by the power of the big Jarle, as were there: the mighty Erling Skjalgsson near Stavanger and Einar Tambarskjelve in Trøndelag, each with an equally powerful sex in the back. He was also subjected to the Thing - court, as evidenced by various lawsuits with his brothers.
