Eyvind Alnæs

Eyvind Alnæs ( born April 29, 1872 in Fredrikstad, † December 24, 1932 in Oslo) was a Norwegian composer.

Alnæs studied in Oslo with Iver Holter, in Leipzig with Carl Reinecke and in Berlin. From 1895 to 1907 he was organist in Drammen, then organist and choral conductor in Oslo. He was one of the founders of the Norwegian Society of Composers.

He composed two symphonies, Variations symphoniques, a piano concerto, piano pieces, chorale preludes for organ, choirs and songs in late Romantic style.
