Ezequias

Ezequias Roosevelt Tavaras de Melo ( born January 28, 1981 in Jundiaí ), called Ezequias, is a Brazilian footballer. The full-back is without a club since the summer of 2012.

Career

Ezequias came at the age of 20 years to Europe and played for Marítimo Funchal in Madeira in the Portuguese Super Liga. In Funchal Ezequias could not say over a longer period of time than a regular player and placed for three years with the club in the upper middle. After he did not come in the season 2004/ 05 in the first round to the course, he was loaned out to league rivals Gil Vicente FC in December 2004.

In 2005 Ezequias joined Académica Coimbra, where he was a regular player and contributed to the league. Just one year later signed him, the Portuguese giants FC Porto, where he however came only to use one. He was at first, and later loaned to SC Beira- Mar on Leixões SC to play matches.

In the summer of 2008 Ezequias Portugal left and moved to FC Brasov in Romania. After two years in the middle of the league 1 he joined in the summer of 2010 Rapid Bucharest, where he qualified at the end of the season with his team for the Europa League. He repeated a year later this success. At the same time, he and his team a the cup final in 2012, but it lost to Dinamo Bucharest 0-1.
