Ezequiel Alejo Carboni

Ezequiel Alejo Carboni ( born April 4, 1979 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player.

Carboni began his career at Lanus, a club in Buenos Aires. From 2005 to 2008 he played for Red Bull Salzburg. Due to his efforts and his willingness to fight, he advanced quickly became the crowd favorite in Salzburg and was chosen by the fans player of the season 2005/ 06. The Salzburg fans called him because of his commitment and his position as a defensive midfielder there "fighting pig". Ezequiel Carboni joined in June 2008 by Red Bull Salzburg to Italy to Catania Calcio. The Argentine, who has an Italian passport, signed a three year contract.
