Ezzatolah Entezami

Ezzatolah Entezami (also Ezatollah Entezami; persian عزتالله انتظامی; * 1924 in Tehran ) is an Iranian actor.

Career

1941 was Ezzatolah Entezami first time as an actor on the stage. He attended the University of Music and Theatre in Hanover where he acquired his degree in 1958. In 1969 he celebrated in Dariush Mehrjui movie The cow made ​​his debut as a film actor. The film won the 1971 Golden Hugo at the Chicago International Film Festival.

Entezami is one of the most famous Iranian actors. He starred in numerous films and has worked with well-known Iranian directors such as Mohsen Makhmalbaf, Ali Hatami and Nasser Taghvai next Dariush Mehrjui. At the International Fajr Film Festival in Tehran, he was twice awarded the Best Actor.
