F.C. Aboomoslem

Abu Moslem Mashhad is an Iranian football club based in Mashhad in Khorasan Razavi province. The club played until 2010 in the Iranian Pro League. The home games are played in the stadium seeds.

History

Abu Moslem Mashhad was founded in 1970. In 1975, the club qualified for the Takht Jamshid Cup and was named the best club that does not come from Tehran. However, he could not maintain the level and rose shortly after starting. Only in 1991 managed to return to the Azadegan League, the top division of Iran at that time. Since then, the team played mostly against relegation.

In early 2007, former Iranian national team Khodadad Azizi coach of the team. After a season Azizi, however, was dismissed again. Since May 2008, Akbar Misaghian who already coached the club in the years 1996-1999 and 2004-2006, has been presented as the new team manager.

In the IPL season 2009/10 ended Abu Moslem finish the season in second to last place in the standings and were relegated to the second class Azadegan League.
