F.C. Verbroedering Dender Eendracht Hekelgem
Football Club Verbroedering Dender Eendracht Hekelgem is a Belgian football club.
History
The club was created in 2005 from the merger of FC Dender EH and Verbroedering Verbroedering Denderhoutem. The former was itself only in 2001, the merger of the company founded in 1952 and FC Denderleeuw of 1963 created FC Eendracht Hekelgem.
Verbroedering Denderhoutem
On March 9, 1943 Denderhoutem was founded in Denderhoutem Verbroedering that were registered in August of the same year under the number 3900 in the Belgian Football Association. First successes came in the 1980s when they traveled between the fourth division and the first regional league. 1996 rose Verbroedering Denderhoutem in the fourth league, in 1998, the team qualified as the leader for the advancement Games Derde Class / Division 3 where they beat Eendracht Hekelgem in the deciding game 2-0 and made the ascent. Denderhoutem was in sixth in his first non- league season. In the following season played Verbroedering Denderhoutem against relegation, but was able to escape at the end of five points clear at Standaard Wetteren. FC Denderleeuw
In 1952 the nearby Denderleeuw the Football Club Denderleeuw who in 1953 joined the Association. The FC Denderleeuw reached 1973, the third league where the club right away table was sixth. In the following season, however, was missed as Third last relegation. Due to poor results the club rose from the 1980s to the second regional league, before it went back up in the 1990s and they played mediocre again in the 1993/94 season.
In 1995, the team's runner-up behind FC was chapels and thus qualified for the ascent to the second league games where you failed in the semifinal at FC Turnhout 2:3 after extra time. The following season the club reached with a third place in the standings as well as the rise of games. This time, sat down by the team and accompanied Royale Union Saint -Gilloise and Olympique Charleroi in the second division. According to a seventh place in the standings in 1997, FC Denderleeuw qualified one year later than in fourth for the ascent to the First Division games, but failed there as a second behind KV Kortrijk.
In the 1998/99 season Denderleeuw caused a surprise when the Cup knockout stages of the RSC Anderlecht was defeated, but the team failed in the quarterfinals of SC Lokeren. At the end of the season the club was roller table. In the two following years the team was ninth, respectively, before 2001 it merged with league rival Eendracht Hekelgem.
FC Eendracht Hekelgem
1963 FC Eendracht Hekelgem was lifted out of baptism, first joined the Catholic Football Association and in 1965 a member of the official Belgian association was. Like the other two clubs played Eendracht Hekelgem in the early years only unterklassig in amateur leagues.
In 1991, Eendracht Hekelgem first promotion to the fourth division. 1997 managed Eendracht Hekelgem there as runner-up behind FC pods qualifying for the ascent to the third league games, but failed to VO Aarschot in a penalty shootout. A year later, the club was second again and lost to Verbroedering Denderhoutem 0:2. In the subsequent match for third promotion place but Eendracht outclassed Stade Leuven 6-1 and followed the subsequent fusion partner.
Eendracht Hekelgem failed to qualify in 1999 as third in the table for the ascent games to become second rate, where, although against KMSK Deinze the deciding game was lost 0-3, but the walkthrough was done perfectly to the second division for the withdrawal of the KFC Herentals. According to a twelfth place in the first year, the Eendracht finished the season 2000/ 01 as Penultimate on the relegation zone. During the summer break, however, the club merged with FC Denderleeuw.
FC Denderleeuw E. H.
In the summer 2001, the FC Denderleeuw and Eendracht merged Hekelgem to FC Denderleeuw EH The merged club was in his first season, 13 of the second division. In the following season Denderleeuw missed just behind SV Zulte -Waregem ascent games. With only three wins followed in 2004 Denderleeuw the example of Verbroedering who stayed in the previous year, and increased as a Table in the third division from. As Table Ninth, the club failed to qualify for the promotion of games. There, however, the team failed in the semifinal at Oud -Heverlee Leuven.
