Fabchannel.com

Fabchannel.com was a Dutch company that had a website set up to provide a platform hitherto unknown artists of the country, where they could present themselves.

The project was started by Justin Kniest in collaboration with the Internet provider XS4ALL and the television producers Dutch View in 2000. On the internet performances were streamed in Amsterdam cultural centers such as the Paradiso or Melkweg.

With more than 1,000 concerts, performances, debates and readings Fabchannel.com was the largest provider of free available concert recordings in the internet world. Every day more than 20,000 visitors were registered. In addition, the site has been awarded several prizes.

On 3 April 2007 it was announced that Fabchannel.com will set up its own channel on Joost under the name "The Best of Fab '. There, the best cut-outs should be sent out concerts.
