Faber-Castell

Faber -Castell is a German manufacturer of stationery. With a production of about two billion wood-cased pencils per year Faber-Castell is the world's largest manufacturer of non-ferrous and pencils. The company employs claims to approximately 7,000 people in 14 manufacturing facilities and 23 sales companies in over 120 countries and has sales representatives. History

Since 1719 there were in Stein near Nuremberg, the first pencil makers. 1758 could be the maker Kaspar Faber down there and started in 1761 also with the production of pencils. The pencils were sold at the Nuremberg market.
