Fabian Jeker

Fabian Jeker ( born November 22, 1968 in Oberdorf BL ) is a retired Swiss professional road bicycle racer.

Fabian Jeker began his professional career in 1991 with Laurent Dufaux at Paul Köchlis legendary Helvetia team. He was a specialist for smaller tours. So his largest successes include the Valencia tour ( 2001), the Tour of Portugal ( 2001) and the Tour of Asturias (2003 ), which he was able to win once each. In 2004 he took after he nearly lost the final time trial at the Tour de Suisse in second place behind Jan Ullrich 1 second behind. Three times he was the two-piece hill climb, the Escalada a Montjuïc, win ( 1996, 1998 and 2000).

Jeker ended his cycling career in 2006, then spent two more years in Spain and returned in the fall of 2008 in Switzerland.
