Fabian Lamotte ( born February 25, 1983 in Mars Hill) is a former German football player at the position of a defender.

Career

The defender, who usually plays on the right side, began at TuS Hesperinghausen playing football. In 1998 he moved to the youth of FC Schalke 04 and later played for the second team, with which he rose to the Regionalliga Nord 2003. He was 04 German Junior Cup winner in 2002 with the A- youth of the FC Schalke. His Bundesliga debut Lamotte on 13 March 2004 away against Eintracht Frankfurt. Three weeks later, he scored against Hamburg with a right-footed shot his only goal in the German top flight. However, he could not prevail at Schalke and therefore joined in 2005 after a total of only ten Bundesliga inserts in the 2nd Bundesliga TSV 1860 Munich.

In the first half of the 2006/07 season he was only used in two league games. In January 2007 he moved to SK Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga, where he was able to secure a regular place at first. In June 2009, he extended his contract by one year until the end of season 2009/10. After the season, his contract was not renewed at Sturm Graz. Fabian Lamotte remained thereupon at the U23 Hertha BSC fit, however, took place after an Achilles tendon injury initially no new employer. Early February 2012, undertook the Berlin Oberliga BFC Viktoria 1889 previously unsigned Lamotte. Then he finished his professional career and playing in the national league for TSV 1865 Dachau.
