Fabian Montabell

Fabian Montabell (born 13 February 1985 in Hanover ) is a German footballer who also has a French passport. He comes from the youth of Hannover 96

Career

The striker came in 1999 from TuS Wettbergen in the junior section of Hannover 96 at the A - youth he was in the U-19 Bundesliga 2003 /04 Masters of the North Season, Montabell scored 16 goals this season, failed in the final round of the German Cup team but at Bayern Munich. Also in the reserve of 96 convinced the attacker in the Oberliga Nord as a reliable scorer. On May 22, 2004 Fabian Montabell came under coach Ewald Lienen to his first game in the Bundesliga. So far, a total of six Bundesliga appearances, four as a midfielder and two as a striker, on his account.

For the season 2008/ 09 changed Montabell to third division FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt, where he was until 2010 under contract. From the 2010/11 season played Montabell for Fortuna Köln. He he signed a contract until June 2012, which was extended by the rise in the Regionalliga West for another year until 2013. In his first season for Fortuna Köln he was with 23 goals scorer in the NRW-Liga. In the 2012/13 season he missed as a table runner with Fortuna Köln almost ascent Relegation to the 3rd league.

From the 2013/14 season Montabell plays for Sportfreunde Lotte.
