Fabiana Beltrame

Fabiana Beltrame ( born April 9, 1982 in Florianopolis ) is a Brazilian rower. It was 2011 World Champion in the lightweight single sculls rowing.

Beltrame began in 1997 with the rowing, 2002, she started with Caroline Beloni at the U23 World Regatta in the double sculls, the two occupied as the second B-final eighth. In the 2004 Olympics she finished in one the 14th place, four years later at the 2008 Olympics, they came on the 19th rank.

Was the 1.72 meter Beltrame started up in 2008 with a competition weight of 69 kg in the normal weight category, so she took apparently significantly in 2009 from, since 2010, she ran as rower in the lightweight single sculls, in which a maximum weight of 59 kg applies. With the third place at the World Cup in Lucerne, she reached for the first time in her career podium in an international competition at the World Rowing Championships 2010, she finished fourth. In 2011 she won the World Cup in Hamburg and at the World Championships in Bled. Since the lightweight one is not an Olympic boat class, changed Beltrame 2012 in the lightweight double sculls. Together with Luana de Assis she won the World Cup in Lucerne tenth.
