Fabien Lemoine ( born March 16, 1987 in Fougères ) is a French football player. He is since 2011 the pro squad of the French first division club AS Saint- Étienne.

Fabien Lemoine started to play football in the 1993 Youth FC Stéphanais - Briçois. Then he went in 1999 in the youth division of AGL Fougères. Only a year later he moved Lemoine in the youth of the first division side Stade Rennes. For the season 2007/ 08 he was hoisted into the professional squad. His professional debut came on 13 January 2008, when he was in the starting XI on matchday 20 against Olympique Marseille and was in the 77th minute, replaced by Olivier Thomert. In the course of the season, Lemoine conquered a permanent place. At the end of the season they finished in sixth place and was thus qualified for the third round of the Intertoto Cup.

His European Cup debut Lemoine on 19 July 2008, when he was in the starting line-up in the third-round first-leg of the Intertoto Cup against Tawrija Simferopol. He came over to use the entire game. In the 2008 /09 season Lemoine reached with Stade Rennes the final of the French Cup competition. However, Lemoine and the favored Stade Rennes lost purely Breton final with 1-2 against second division side Guingamp. In the following time he was firmly set and reached Rennes each placement in the upper mid-table.

During the summer break 2011 Lemoine joined the Erstligarivalen AS Saint -Étienne, where he also kept a place in the starting eleven. This he was able to maintain during the subsequent seasons.

National

Lemoine denied on 19 August 2008 his first and only match for the Under-21 French national team, when he came off the bench against Slovenia at the beginning of the second half for Yohan Cabaye.
