Fabio Cudicini

Fabio Cudicini ( born October 20, 1935 in Trieste ) is an Italian former football goalkeeper.

His son Carlo Cudicini is also a professional footballer.

Career

Cudicini started his career in 1955 at Udinese Calcio. In 1958 he moved to AS Roma. In the season 1966/67 he played for Brescia Calcio. His big time he experienced with AC Milan, where he played 1967-1973. With Milan, he was four times Italian champion, two-time winner of the Coppa Italia. At the international level with Milan Cudicini took two European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1968 Champions Cup. He was also winner of the 1969 World Cup. In 1973, he finished his career. Although Cudicini was one of the best goalkeepers of his time, he never played for the Italian national football team.
