Fabio Duarte

Fabio Andres Duarte Arevalo ( born June 11, 1986 in Facatativa ) is a Colombian cyclist.

Fabio Duarte won a stage of the 2005 Vuelta a la Sabana and three stages and the overall at the Vuelta de la Juventud. In 2006 he drove for the team UNE- Orbitel. It was in this year Colombian national time trial champion in the U23 class and won a stage at the Vuelta a Colombia. He also won the 2006 two stages and the overall classification at the Clasica Internacional Ciudad de Anapoima, the prologue and the overall classification at the Clasica International de Tulcan, three stages and the overall title at the Vuelta de la Juventud and the prologue at the Clasica Internacional Marco Fidel Suárez. 2007 Duarte drove for the Professional Continental team Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni, where he was successful on a section of the Vuelta a Colombia. From 2008 he is for the Continental Team Colombia There go Pasion. His biggest success came at the 2008 World Cycling Championships in Varese road by the World Champion title in the U23 class secured. For the 2011 season he moved to the Geox -TMC team, but that he had to leave a year later due to the dissolution of the team. He went back to his homeland and signed with the Continental team Colomia - Coldeparts a contract.
