Fabio Parra

Fabio Enrique Parra Pinto ( born November 22, 1959 in Sogamoso, Boyacá, Colombia ) is a former Colombian cyclist.

After numerous good results as an amateur in Colombia (including winners of Colombia Tour 1981) signed Fabio Parra his first professional contract with the Colombian team Café de Columbia in 1985. He was professional from 1985 to 1992 and won stages in both the Tour de France as well as at the Spanish Vuelta.

His greatest successes came in third in the overall classification at the Tour de France in 1988 and second overall of the Vuelta a España 1989 behind Pedro Delgado.
