Fablok TKh49

The TKh49 -1 Ferrum 47 was a Polish tank locomotive. It was built in Fablok.

History

The locomotive is based on a draft from the years 1927-1929, then six machines in the factory designation T1A and T2A were of Fablok built. The technical documentation has survived the war and it was decided to develop it into a new machine. Were delivered in the years 1948-61477 locomotives, including to China, Romania, Hungary, these were referred to as FERRUM 724. 1993 should have been in the service of another machine in China. The PKP never took over machines of this type, they were used in the network traffic.

Museums

Preserved in museums remained a locomotive at the Museum of vehicles and railway technology in Chabówka three more are in other museums get a machine is used for foreign heritage railways as Lokdenkmal in Toruń and some machines. So were two machines at the Spa Valley Railway, Northampton & Lamport Railway, North Norfolk Railway and one of the Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society, Bridgend Valleys Railway.
