Fabricio Fuentes

Fabricio Fabio Fuentes ( born October 13, 1976 in Río Cuarto ) is an Argentine footballer who plays for CF Atlas. He also holds an Italian passport.

Playing career

Biography

Fabricio Fuentes has played in several leagues first in South America and Europe. He began his career at Newell 's Old Boys from his native Argentina. After just one season in the first team (1996 ) he went to the then second division club Quilmes Atlético Club. There he was able to convince and 1998, return to the " Old Boys ". After three years he moved again within the Argentine league. He was drawn to Velez Sarsfield. Two years later (2003 ) was followed by a short spell at the French first division side Guingamp. This failed, however, after which he returned in the season 2004/2005 to Vélez.

For the 2005/2006 season Fabricio Fuentes changed again country and league to hire the Mexican first division club CF Atlas. In the summer of 2006 he took the second start in a European top league after the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini brought him to Villarreal.
