Facepalm

Facepalm (English face = 'face' and English = palm, palm ' ) is a term of Internet jargon. Here, the physical gesture is described in which a hand covered parts of one's face.

Thus, various emotions ( disbelief, shame, embarrassment, skepticism, frustration, disgust or unhappiness ), but especially anger and " foreign Cham " about the " stupidity" or clumsiness of a person or indeed be expressed.

Popular was the Facepalm as an Internet phenomenon based on an image of Star Trek Captain Jean -Luc Picard, on which he performs this gesture.
