Faddeyevsky Peninsula

The Faddejewski Peninsula (Russian полуостров Фаддеевский, poluostrow Faddejewski ) is a peninsula in Arctic Russia. It belongs to the Anschuinseln, which in turn belong to the New Siberian Islands. The island has an area of ​​5,300 km ². Faddejewski is about the country Bunge, a large sandbar connected to the adjacent Kotelny Island. Previously Faddejewski was a separate island. The island was discovered in 1805 by Yakov Sannikov and named after a Russian fur traders.
