Fahr Abbey

The monastery driving is a Benedictine monastery and heard since its inception in 1130 to the monastery of Einsiedeln. History

The name of the monastery is derived from the ferry, which had led to this place over the Limmat River. The Kloster Fahr in 1130, was donated by the Barons of rain mountain.
