Fahrenwalde

Fahrenwalde is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in eastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office of Uecker- Randow Valley with offices in the city Pasewalk.

The municipality consists of the villages Bröllin, Friedrichshof and Karlsruh.

Geography

The community on the border to Brandenburg is situated on a plateau, which drops to Randowbruch to the northeast. The area between the town and Pasewalk Uckermark small town Bruessow is hilly (elevations below 99 m above sea level. NN ). Between the nucleus Fahrenwalde and the village Bröllin and northeast of the local part Friedrichshof there are several small kettle holes (including " brick cesspool " and " Little Roetpfuhl ").

History

On July 25, 1952 Fahrenwalde was removed together with other municipalities from the Brandenburg until 1945 the Prussian district Prenzlau and assigned to the circle Pasewalk in the district of Neubrandenburg.

Economy
