Fairey Fawn

The Fairey Fawn was a two-seat lightweight biplane that was used in the British service as Tagbomber. The aircraft's first flight was 1923. 1924 introduced the no. 11, no. 12 and No.100 Squadron of the Royal Air Force (RAF ) from the DH9A on the Fairey Fawn order. Furthermore, it was at 2 new bomber units, the no. 503 and the 603 Squadron used.

The Fawn was originally intended as a reconnaissance. After the reconstruction of the experimental amphibious aircraft Fairey Pintail and the prototype MK I and MK II construction with longer fuselage to improve the longitudinal stability, it proved suitable as a bomber. 1923 starts the first order for 48 machines, it was followed by a series connection Fawn MK III with 20 aircraft.
