Fairfield Township is one of thirteen townships of Butler County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in the year 2000 15.571 inhabitants were registered here.
Geography
Fairfield Township is located in the southeast of Butler County, 37 km north of Cincinnati, in southwestern Ohio and borders clockwise to the townships: St. Clair Township, Madison Township, Liberty Township, West Chester Township and Ross Township.
Management
The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
