Faiz Khaleed

Faiz bin Khaleed (born 15 September 1980 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is a Malaysian dentist and spaceman contender.

He studied dentistry at the St. John's Institution in Kuala Lumpur. Faiz Khaleed is employed as a dentist in the Malaysian Air Force and was promoted to Major on 22 October 2007.

On 9 September 2006, he was selected as part of the space program Angkasawan for the crew of Soyuz TMA -11. Together with the later first Malaysian astronaut, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor the doctor, he began his cosmonaut training in October 2006.

Faiz could not come to a space flight, if Malaysia decides to perform another space flight.
