Fajr International Film Festival

The International Fajr Film Festival (Persian جشنواره فیلم فجر, Dschaschn - Vāreh -ye Fajr ) is an Iranian Film Festival, which is held annually in February in Tehran.

The festival was founded in 1982 on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture to life and is subject to the Farabi Cinema Foundation. It sees itself as a bridge between the Western and Eastern world of film.

Prize of the festival is the Crystal Simorgh ( Phoenix). It is awarded International and National film film in the categories.
