Fake (Manga)

Fake is a completed manga series of Japanese illustrator Sanami Matoh that has drawn inter alia, Full Moon ni Sasayaite. The detective manga, which is attributable to the Shōnen- Ai or the yaoi genre, includes more than 1,200 pages and was first published in 1993. It's about two gay policemen and two children in New York.

Action

The half- Japanese Randy Maclane comes new in the 27th Precinct and is assigned the same on his first day Dee Layton. First Dee reacts repellent, but that does not last long. Randy Dee proves that he has the makings of a policeman and so close the two friendship. From that day on Dee Randy called only by his middle name, Ryo. Ryo is a rather reserved and quiet person, Dee, however, very stormy and directly, so he often surprised Ryo.

One day the road Young Bikky Goldman emerges, the Ryo takes with him. Dee and Bikky argue and brawl churning, mostly when Dee Ryo approaches. The pickpocket Carol will be added also. It is often the case with Ryo, Dee and Bikky, where they also often at odds with Dee.

Publications

Fake appeared in Japan from 1993 to 2000 in the manga magazine Be x Boy, in which, among other things, Kazuma Kodakas Kizuna was published. The Biblos -Verlag summed up this single chapter from 1994 also in anthologies together, of which seven appeared.

The manga was, among others, also translated into German, English and French. From June 2002 to June 2003 moved Carlsen Comics the anthologies in German.

In April 1998 came to Japan as an anime adaptation of the manga in the form of an original video animation out. JCStaff produced the one-hour film in which Iku Suzuki directed and which was published in the United States, Italy, and in March 2005 OVA film in Germany.
