Falerno del Massico

Falerno del Massico is an Italian wine region in the Campania region. The wine from the province of Caserta enjoys since January 3, 1989 the status of a Denominazione di origine controllata (short doc). Approved vineyards spread over the municipalities Sessa Aurunca, Cellole, Mondragone, Falciano del Massico and Carinola around the eponymous 812 meter high Monte Massico. This area in the north-west of Campania is situated about 40 km northwest of Naples and was already known in antiquity for the famous Falernian. The harvest limit is high 70 hectoliters / hectare.

Falerno del Bianco Massico

The white wine is made ​​from the grape varietal Falanghina. The wines are slightly floral and pleasant. You should at a drinking temperature of 8 - 10 ° C to be enjoyed.

Falerno del Massico Primitivo

The red wine is made ​​from the following varieties:
