Falk Huste

Falk huste ( born November 6, 1971 in Greiz ) is a retired German boxer. It was in 1997 Vice World Featherweight Champion. He is the older brother of boxer Kay huste, which has been used in 1998 European Champion and military world champion.

Career

Falk huste comes from a boxing family enthusiastic and grew up in Berlin. At age 12 he began in Hohenschonhausen at coach Harald Lange with the boxes. His next club was ASG Treptow. He was DDR Spartakiadesieger (comparable to the Junior Champion title of the GDR ) in 1989.

After German reunification Falk huste started in 1991 in the German Championship of seniors at lightweight. He is number one final battle, in which he was defeated Marco Rudolph from Cottbus on points. He began now for the BC Frankfurt (Oder ) and the ring box Brandenburg. He was a regular soldier at that time and was trained by Karl -Heinz Krüger.

1994 Falk won huste three major international tournaments or championships. First he won in Chemistry Cup in Halle featherweight. In the final of this tournament he beat the Junior World Champion Lorenzo Aragon of Cuba to points ( 11:7 ). Then he succeeded at the World Cup in Bangkok, who was like a World Cup of the occupation ago, the tournament champion at featherweight. In 1996, Falk huste very focused on the Olympic Games in Atlanta. He started there again at featherweight and defeated in his first two fights David Burke from United Kingdom ( 13:9 ) and Ulugbek Ibragimov of Uzbekistan ( 8:4 ) on points. In the quarterfinals, he got back to Serafim Todorov, where he was defeated again by points ( 6:14 ). He missed a medal and so came on the 5th Place.

Another high point in the career of Falk huste was attending the World Cup in 1997 in Budapest. He fought there until the final before, in which he but the Hungarian István Kovács on points ( 2:6 ) subject. He was vice-champion.

1999 Falk huste was the fourth time German featherweight champion. In the final of that tournament he defeated Enrico Köbbert from Schwerin by task in the 4th round. His international success, he continued at the 2000 European Championships in Tampere. He won there behind Ramaz Paliani, a Georgian who started for Turkey and Boris Georgiev from Bulgaria a bronze medal. At the Olympic Games in Sydney the same year he succeeded then, unfortunately, did not win an Olympic medal. He won in Sydney while his first fight against the Finns Joni Turunen, but then lost to the Americans Ricardo Juarez and retired. He got away with it on the 9th Place.

After these Olympics huste Falk ended his career as an active boxer. He made a coach training and acts as a coach at the Sports School Frankfurt ( Oder), he is also national coach in DABV and responsible for the junior level.
