Falkenfelsen

The Falkenfelsen are a 60 -meter-high granite rock formation at Buhler height in the northern Black Forest.

Hiking trails lead from two Plättig on the Black Forest High Road through the formation. They lead to the situated directly on the rock shelter Herta hut, which is named after Hertha Isenbart, the builder of the Buhlerhohe. From there, a path leads up to the Brocken rock. From the platform you can enjoy a view of the northern Black Forest, with the Wiedenfelsen and Hornisgrinde in the south, Buhlerhohe in the Northeast and the Rhine valley.

At Falkenstein, there are several climbing routes of difficulty levels III -IX.
