Falkenhagen

Falk Hagen (Mark), formerly only Falk Hagen is a municipality in the district office belonging to Mark- Or land in Brandenburg. The (large) community Falk Hagen was renamed on 1 February 2005 in Falk Hagen (Mark). The nucleus, now a part of the municipality continues to bear the name, however, Falk Hagen. Falk Hagen (Mark) is managed by the Office Seelow country.

Geography

Geographical Location

The village lies on the Lebus plate, a ground moraine of the Vistula glaciation, in the southwestern foothills of the ice stage of the Frankfurt Season at a point where a subglacial channel crosses this plate and the ice stage. Within the groove of the place from north through east to south from six lakes and other small bodies of water surrounded.

Community structure

The municipality comprises the municipality Share Falk Hagen, raincoat and George valley, as well as the living quarters Green Tree, Helenenruh, Jochenshof, and Luisenhof.

History

Grave fields of early, middle and late Bronze Age at the Seehotel Luisenhof evidence of very early settlement. For Slavic or Polish rule probably came here one of the two locks Thorin or Rukkowe which occur in a document from 1336, but can not be assigned. The largest early Gothic stone church in East Brandenburg was built as a basilica - bishopric in the 13th century.

1313 was the first documentary mention as Castrum et Districtus. 1321 Falk Hagen was an oppidum on the trade route Magdeburg poses. 1375 was a knight John of Wulkow and from 1412 the family of lamp Hagen family from Berne field and the family of Scharpelow owners. 1472 came the Silesian family of Hohendorff for over 300 years. 1600, the city Falk Hagen had a school. 1624 lived in Falk Hagen 535 inhabitants. 1650 after the end of the Thirty Years' War the city was only of 52 farmsteads.

Until the 17th century Falk Hagen had city rights. 1773 bought Legationsrath Johann Anton von Junck Falk Hagen and built a pleasure palace. 1792 married Albertine Junck of Franz Alexander von Kleist. The couple moved in 1793 by Falk Hagen in the newly built castle. The Scriptures The happiness of marriage is devoted to his wife here. Died 1797 Franz Alexander von Kleist. 1796 Falk Hagen was sold to Imperial Count Münster - My Hofel. 1799 Graf von der Goltz was owner of Falk Hagen.

The two aisles of the church were canceled in 1801. 1805 acquired Freiherr von Eckardstein the castle, about 1815, turned his wife Lisette nee von Blumenthal, in a mansion and laid out a park. 1830 was followed by Julius von Eckardstein and his wife, Countess Wilhelmine Finck von Finckenstein. In 1852 the New Palace was built in the Tudor style between water and forest. 1862 bought Walter Schulz- Wulkow castle and estate Falk Hagen.

1923, the lake area was protected landscape area. 1938/39, was the expropriation by the Nazis. 1939, the demolition of the castle Falk Hagen. 1940/43 was the construction of an underground factory for the production of chlorine trifluoride (N- material ) and 1943/45 a sarin - scale plant. The completion was earlier scheduled for May / June 1945. In February 1945, the complete chemical plant was evacuated. In April, the chemical plant was taken over without a fight by Soviet troops.

In 1950 the new building of the School and in 1954 the establishment of the LPG. From 1958 to 1964, the reconstruction of the bunker Falk Hagen was performed by the GSFG for ABC - safe emergency - use command center of the Warsaw Pact. Between 1958 and 1962 plasma research has been conducted in parts of the Wehrmacht system. 1962 saw the founding of the Institute of Materials Processing ( semiconductor technology). 1995 was the Seehotel Luisenhof a new hotel on Gabelsee. Since 1998, the country or camp, with over 200 beds one of the largest facilities of its kind in Germany, aim for numerous school trips and travel from daycare.

Place name

The community name Falk Hagen was completed on 1 February 2005 with the addition of (Mark).

Traffic

Falk Hagen (Mark) is connected to the national road 37 to the Federal Highway 5 and so with Berlin and Frankfurt ( Oder).
