Falkland Current

The Falkland Current is a north-facing cool ocean currents in the South Atlantic off the southeast coast of South America and is a tap of the Antarctic Zirkumpolarstromes.

It is the continuation of the Cape Horn - stream and flows from the Falkland Islands to just before the mouth of the Río de la Plata. Here on the 40th latitude south it meets the coming of warm North Brazil Current mixes with this and is deflected to the east.
