Fallou

Fallou is the name of a municipality in the district of Nara in the Koulikoro region of Mali. The community consists of several villages.

Population

The municipality had a population of 30,239 at the 2009 census.

After ethnic groups, the population is composed of: Soninké to 67%, Bambara 29% and Moors to 4%.

Economy

The population lives on the cattle and the cultivation of millet. There are also some gardening.

In the community Fallou there are several development projects, including US-based food security projects and projects that are supported by German NGOs.
