The Lago Fanaco located in the province of Palermo in Sicily. The reservoir was built from 1951 to 1953 and is powered by Platani.

It lies between the mountains Monte Lupo ( 1092 ) and Monte Fieravecchia ( 1081 ). The village Castronovo di Sicilia is 6.2 km from the lake.

The waters of Lago Fanaco is used as drinking water.
