FAPSI

The Federal Agency for Government Telecommunications and Information ( FAPSI; Russian: Федеральное Агентство Правительственной Связи и Информации - ФАПСИ ) was created as an independent news service as part of the unbundling of the Soviet KGB in 1991 from parts of 8 ( government telecommunications) and 1 Headquarters ( foreign intelligence ) and 16 administrative ( COMINT ).
