Farida Jalal

Farida Jalal (born 14 March 1949 in New Delhi, India) is a Bollywood actress. In the movies, they mostly plays the grandmother or mother of the main characters. She has worked with the Bollywood actors Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan. In 1995 she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

Career

Farida Jalal started her career in the 1960s, when she won the talent competition of the United Film Producers, which was sponsored by Filmfare. They originally played the sister or rejected fiancée usually the male lead, but almost never the female lead. One of her most successful roles it plays in Bobby, where it is the role of the mentally handicapped future fiancée of Embodied by Rishi Kapoor Raj. During the 1980s, she first played the sister and friend, and with increasing age, aunt, mother or grandmother. She is also known for her role in Aradhana, where she embodies Rajesh Khanna's girlfriend, and the song " Bagon bahar hai, kaliyon pe hai nikhar me " sings.
