Farnham Knights

The Farnham Fast Lane Knights ( formerly also Farnham Knights, Farnham Personal Assurance Knights or Knights PA ) is an American football club from the southern English town of Aldershot in the County of Hampshire.

History

Established were the Knights in 1984, after the first few games in 1985 they launched in 1986 for the first time in league play. After merging with the Hampshire Cavaliers in 1994, the team changed its name to Southern Seminoles. In 1997, the name changed in Personal Assurance Knights, named after the main sponsor staff Assurance. More name changes followed, currently is the name Farnham Fast Lane Knights, also named after the main sponsor Fast Lane.

Between 2003 and 2006, the Knights participated four times in the EFAF Cup. In 2004, she reached the final, which they lost to the Papa Joe's Tyrolean Raiders with 0:45.

Achievements

After two runner-up in 1992 ( 26:30 defeat by the Clydesdale Colts in the BNGL ) and 2002 ( 15:42 defeats against the London O's ) won the Knights in 2004, their greatest club success.
