Faro District

The district Faro (Distrito de Faro ) is a district in Portugal, it corresponds to the traditional province of Algarve. To the north borders the district to the district of Beja in the east to Spain and to the south and west by the Atlantic Ocean. Area: 4960 km ². Population (2001): 395 208.
